Fredrik Lundin Saxophones, flutes. Since arriving on the Danish Jazz scene in 1981 this elegant and explosive musician has been searching relentlessly into the realms of experimental and contemporary music.A truly original and virituoso voice, performing in bands such as his own Overdrive, or "Sound of Choise" with Hasse Poulsen, or Jonas Johanssens "Move". Bjarte Eike violin.Studied violin at the Grieg Academy in Bergen (Norway) and baroque violin with Richard Gwilt in London where he recieved "Distinction" (highest mark). He is now active as a freelance violinist and concertmaster all over Scandinavia in ensembles such as Concerto Copenhagen, Norsk Barokkorkester, Bergen Barokk and other groups in Copenhagen, Malmoe, Gothenbourg and Oslo. He is teaching baroque violin at the Concervatory in Bergen (Grieg Academy).
Peter Spissky violin. Studied violin at the Music Academy in Bratislava, Slovakia, and the Music Academy in Malmoe, Sweden, where he recieved the soloist diploma in 1995. He is a concertmaster in Concerto Copenhagen, Malm&Mac246; BarockOrkester, and plays with leading european ensembles such as Tragicomedia, Tirami su, Teatro Lirico. He teaches baroque violin at the Academy of Malmoe and the Conservatory in Odense (Denmark).
Thomas Pitt violoncello. Studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, graduating with honours. He then moved to Amsterdam to study with Wouter Moeller at the Sweelinck Conservatory. After recieving the soloist diploma in 1998 he has been travelling all over the world as a freelance cellist, giving concerts and making recordings - often as principal cellist - with groups like Gabrieli Concort, Concerto Copenhagen, Musica ad Rhenum and The academy of Ancient Music.
(Also performing in Baroque Fever (www.baroquefever.com), these three virituoso musicians are devoted players, firmly rooted in the early music movement but searching and experimental in attitude.)

Helge Norbakken percussion A strong and very clear player with a long line of musical successful collaborations with people like Maria Joao, Mari Boine, and a wide array of Scandinavian artists.His main instruments are Sabar, Djembe, talking drums, and Sakara, and he has developed a unique, dynamic and energetic style as a continuation of the traditions these drums stems from.

Jon Balke Piano and keyboards
Professional career since 1974, when he joined the Arild Andersen group, touring Europe and recording for ECM records. In late 70’s he joined the West African afro jazz unit “E’olen” and later the groups Masqualero (Jon Christensen,Arild Andersen, Nils P Molvaer, and Tore Brunborg), and “Oslo 13” a wild experimenting mini big band which started Balke composing for larger groups.The trio Jøkleba was formed on Balkes initiative and became a playground of fresh ideas.He has since then scored music for noumerous stage productions, chamber groups and orchestras, as well as composing tons of tunes for jazz ensembles.His latest projects include Magnetic North Orchestra, the percussion based "Batagraf", and a variety of composition projects.
