SIWAN is a term in Aljamiado, a latin- arabic mixed language spoken and written during the inquisition. It signifies balance or equilibrium.
Departing from imagination of what disappeared in the bonfires of the inquisition, this grand concert music pays a hommage to creativity and tolerance in eternal struggle against the formalism and fundamentalism opposing them.
This project marks the 15th anniversary of Cosmopolite , cultural melting pot of Oslo and meeting point of cultures and races from all over the world.
